Malmö Today is an ongoing project that is about the urban urban environment every day about everything that happens in a city. It is Malmö photographer Robert Rggus G who started this ongoing project in collaboration with Street Scene. A worldwide photo blog. Sedan 2011. Malmö is one of Sweden's fastest growing metropolitan centers. The large number of births and the influx of people account for the majority of the population increase. Every year, the city of Malmö provides a population forecast for the next ten years. It is an important tool for planning Malmö's future. The population forecast for 2020 shows, among other things, that the number of Malmö residents is expected to increase by approximately 50,000 new inhabitants by 2030.

The rapidly growing population provides opportunities and challenges for social welfare. This requires that we constantly work to ensure sustainable and inclusive development in the city.

Malmö strives to be a sustainable city - socially, economically and environmentally. Businesses, researchers, residents and city authorities work closely together to reduce health-related inequality, especially among children and young people. Malmö is also a pioneer for environmental zones such as Augustenborg, Västra hamnen and Hyllie.
